Project Summary
The Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) contacted Tyler Idaho in February 2023, in need of an updated, user-friendly website. The goal of the redesign was to simplify the number of pages and menu items, clean up and update the site structure and organization while creating an overall modern and resource-driven website.
Research & Planning
Tyler Idaho worked with the ISDA staff to determine overall goals of their new website, identify examples of websites they liked and specifcially what features they liked, and discussed the best ways to utilize their existing logo and brand identity while proivding and updated look. We focused on utilizing the variety of brand colors and chosen font throughout the new website with many idaho agriculture based photos.
One of the biggest goals of the website redesign was overall site organization and planning. On the previous website, there were many menus. ISDA staff and the public found the overall site difficult to navigate. ISDA worked with Tyler Idaho to plan, organize and combine pages to make each division's navigation and over page structures cohesive.
