This service can be used exclusively for Idaho state agencies, counties, cities and other government entities at no cost. There are no merchant fees or monthly minimums. In addition, you’ll have access to exportable online billing reports at no charge.

In partnership with Idaho Information Consortium, the State of Idaho established Access Idaho to develop, support, maintain, and enhance the State’s official web portal, idaho.gov (hyperlink), under a self-funding model using no tax dollars and appropriated funds.

Expect funds to arrive in your account 3 business days after the transaction date.
PayPort can accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Electronic checks are also an option. Please discuss eChecks with us if you are interested.
PayPort and its systems comply fully with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. As a subsidiary of a publicly traded company, Access Idaho is Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliant for controls, security and business continuity issues. We contract with an independent security company to review our security processes and procedures regularly for physical, technical, and policy security.
Second to security, our primary goals are speed and stability. We make a service guarantee of 4 seconds or less per order and 99.99% uptime during business hours.
A PIN is not needed to run a debit card. We run debit cards just like credit cards.
All you need is a computer with an internet connection. Access Idaho provides one swipe card reader (optional) for each computer at no charge.
Yes. Form fields will need to be added to your catalog for PayPort Online, but you can utilize the same catalog you already have.
When a customer uses a debit card, the funds are authorized and the bank will put a hold on those funds immediately. When an order is canceled, it can take up to two weeks (depending on the bank) to release the hold (authorization) on those funds. If the customer needs the funds available in their account right away, just contact Access Idaho, and we can release the authorization.
