Partner Spotlight: Idaho Department of Labor
The Access Idaho team (Tyler Idaho), in collaboration with the Idaho Department of Labor, recently completed a refresh of the agency’s website dedicated to job seekers, employers, and displaced workers needing access to their unemployment benefits.
Idaho’s home for job seekers and employers was a project focused on eliminating technical debt by moving the site off Dot Net Nuke and onto a more modern and supported WordPress platform. The Access Idaho team worked with the Department of Labor staff to clean up and migrate key content while taking a fresh look at site analytics to refine the user experience. Access Idaho is proud of its agency partnership and project work to keep this vital economic site operating at peak performance.
Introducing Engagement Builder
Effective July 1, the Division of Occupational & Professional Licenses (DOPL) was tasked by legislative mandate to be responsible for the licensing and regulatory enforcement of healthcare professionals who provide Telehealth Access/Virtual Care services.
DOPL partnered with Access Idaho to launch the required online forms and applications to meet this legislative deadline. This project was a perfect fit for our new low-code/no-code platform, Engagement Builder. The platform is an end-to-end digital government solution designed to take the guesswork out of modernizing the user experience.
Our new platform can quickly develop online forms, services, and applications using no-code drag-and-drop modules. Staff can access and manage data from an intuitive administrative dashboard, streamlining and improving the user’s journey without straining IT resources. This includes new services or integrating with other applications, such as Payments, using our secure API.
Next up for DOPL is online Building Safety Permitting and Inspection services using this platform. We look forward to expanding this platform across the state enterprise.
Managing the Citizen Experience with Excellence
I had the privilege of participating in the panel discussion, Managing the Citizen Experience with Excellence, at last month’s Idaho Digital Government Summit. Moderated by Douglas L Hansen, Chief Information Officer for the Idaho State Administrative Office of the Courts, the panel, comprised of representatives from various state departments and government technology industry leaders, discussed the Idaho user experience in the current digital age and what it takes to deliver quality digital services Idahoans have come to expect and that help create thriving communities.
Resident Resources
