This service can be used exclusively for Idaho state agencies, counties, cities and other government entities at no cost. There are no merchant fees or monthly minimums. In addition, you’ll have access to exportable online billing reports at no charge.

Expect funds to arrive in your account 3 business days after the transaction date.

PayPort can accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Electronic checks are also an option. Please discuss eChecks with us if you are interested.

PayPort and its systems comply fully with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. As a subsidiary of a publicly traded company, Tyler Idaho is Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliant for controls, security and business continuity issues. We contract with an independent security company to review our security processes and procedures regularly for physical, technical, and policy security.

Second to security, our primary goals are speed and stability. We make a service guarantee of 4 seconds or less per order and 99.99% uptime.

A PIN is not needed to run a debit card. We run debit cards just like credit cards.

Tyler Idaho provides one encrypted, USB-connected swipe card reader for each computer at no charge. EMV/contactless/chip readers are available at cost.

Yes. Form fields will need to be added to your catalog for PayPort Online, but you can utilize the same catalog you already have.

If the PayPort (prod) icon does not appear on your computer desktop after downloading, or you lose the icon, follow these instructions to re-add it:
  1. Make sure your default web browser is NOT Microsoft Edge.
  2. Go to the login page and right click on the page. Select “Create Shortcut” This will place a “generic” shortcut on your desktop.
  3. If you want to change the icon to a graphic ‘P’ for PayPort, please give us a call and we can email the file to you.

Anyone who takes credit/debit card payments over the counter or phone is responsible for protecting cardholder data. Our Data Security Standards document explains what cardholder data is and how to protect it under your control.
